The framework includes a number of standard components.
These components offer concrete business level functionality which is usable at application level.
A set of chosen components are configured and combined within the framework to provide the required functionality of the application.
In this way the development effort is considerably diminished.
As the components themselves do not change they are effectively re-used within a number of different applications.
In this way the components have been tested and improved over several years and as such have reached a high level of reliability, availability, maintainability and security.
